Entry Requirements for International Students to Study Medicine in Lithuania

Both universities in Lithuania require an entrance exam for their programmes. Vilnius University requires the MCAT test, which is the standardised examination for medical students in the US, Canada, Australia, and the Caribbean islands. LSMU administers its own online exam, which consists of an interview and a test in Biology and Chemistry.

Furthermore, both universities require secondary school courses in Biology and Chemistry. Good grades are considered an advantage. Finally, a certificate for English proficiency is required at LSMU for non-native speakers. Vilnius University does not require one as long as the applicant holds the MCAT.

The medical school of Siena is the only medical school in Italy that teaches Dentistry and Dental Prosthodontics in English. It provides a 6-year dental medicine programme.

The tuition fee is £ 3869 per year, and living costs are between €600-€900 per month. Admission requirements are 3 Science A-Levels and IMAT.
